A Simple Way to Reduce Your Daily Stress
Let’s talk about music and how we can use it as a remedy for stress relief. Listening to music or singing different words as mantras can help you reduce your stress throughout the day.
Music is the Universal language and it is a very powerful channel of communication between us and Nature. We usually communicate in spoken words but at the beginning of life there were only the sounds of Nature around everything and everyone in the Cosmic field we are lining at. Music can help us in times of difficulty because it remains the universal language of our quantum field.
I know it is true and while I am talking about it I feel as if I am replaying my life journey, when I worked as an aerobic and callanetic instructor and my job was unknown and unsecure to me – at that time music was one of “my ways” to do dancing classes and workouts; music has also helped many of my clients get their desired body shape and stay on the flow.
I used my discs with dance music for exercising and dancing at home; then, I recommended them to everyone of my trainees, so that they could listen to them at work or at home at their own privacy. That was a great experience for me and taught me a lot of useful things because I could see the relation between the way someone feels and the music they like. I found out for myself that the Latin dance music was bringing me joy and happiness. Even today it raises my vibrations and helps my body cells rejuvenate, no matter if I am dancing on it or just sitting and listening to it.
On the other hand, the so called “Belly Dance”(which I have studied and practiced for at least three years in my professional career as a fitness instructor) is the dance that makes me more concentrated and balanced because all elements and movements in it are connected with Nature and the Mother Earth and help you to be grounded and present now.
Dancing is like an active meditation for me and for example, while I am making a horizontal figure eight with my hips, I feel my energy coming back into the body, which makes me feel fully present and on the flow.
When chanting “OM” – the first sacred sound of creation – I can feel its vibration deep inside me and this practice brings all my body cells into balance, so I can easily relax, rejuvenate, get rid of my mental chatter and release my daily stress. It is also one of my preferred ways of reducing the daily stressors and my rescue pill that helped me many times to restore my stability and be able to appreciate life itself. So, these are some of the ways and methods for you too, when you can use music as a curing remedy as well as a means for wellbeing and relaxation.
Music can also dramatically change your point of view about the world and the reality you have created for yourself, a reality that was caused by all these beliefs and models that were grounded in you from your childhood by your family, your closest friends and social circle. I remember how my world changed when I completed a seminar on different tips that are used as rescue remedies for the stress release and I applied most of them in my everyday life.
We have already discussed some of them like mudras, aromatherapic means, chanting mantras and doing a short introductory meditation to attune ourselves to Cosmos. The music to it is Indian and while listening to it we can see many of our previous incarnations as many of us were Indians and Japanese warriors in our previous lives. That could be a really brainstorming experience about the way we show up in the world.
Last night I was invited to a concert with an outstanding teacher- a man who called himself a channel of the Universal music: he told us many stories about his life and how he played and sang in some Tibetan monasteries, in India and other countries all over the world. He explained his life mission and purpose to us: to introduce spiritual music to humanity and help people become more centered, balanced and conscious of their life.
The things I mentioned above make me feel as if I am introducing the benefits of having cold and warm water in you house, but the real picture is that we often forget about those simple ordinary things which serve us every day and support us in living better lives.
So how can we use music as a remedy for stress relief?
I think the answer to that question lies deep inside us because we are unique in nature and like different things as well as different music in our lives. I hope that listening to Latin music may probably help you feel better and more energetic, but of course, you can always use for the type of music you like. I prefer the Latin dance music, but if you know what kind of music works for you the best – feel free to use it. Then, try to find out your own way of communicating with the living Nature, which will make your life journey more pleasant and enjoyable.
Right now we are living in a new world and are manifesting things in our reality much faster than before, sometimes – even at a glimpse of an eye. Therefore, it is crucial for us to understand how life has changed and to attune ourselves to the new conditions we are lining in. So, be open to observe the changes that will enter your life journey and allowing them to happen through you.
