What is Meditation and How it Helps us to Release the Daily Stress


Let’s talk about the benefits of doing short meditations on a daily basis. The daily practice of meditation will considerably improve your health and your ability to concentrate on useful things throughout the day without distracting yourself with playing too many roles in order to please others and be approved.

What is meditation and do you need some extraordinary skills or talents to do it on a daily basis? I have struggled a lot to finally find out the remedy and recipe which to follow in order to reduce or even bring my daily stress to a zero level. In the past my life was /and still is from time to time now / ruled by my logical mind: if I could not explain something in a logical way, I could rarely accept it or tried to do it no matter what I could achieve – thus omitting new and powerful things to come into my life, just because they did not seem logical to my mind.

I have worked for many years on the physical body as a fitness instructor and also doing myself daily workouts, dancing exercises and physical complexes. I also did meditations on a daily basis because I felt they helped me reduce my negative thoughts, fearful feelings and emotions in a very healthy and effective way. I completed many courses and trainings in personal development and growth but mainly from my self-observation research and my own experience I have found out what’s the best for me at any given moment. Thus I have come to that simple truth: if there is a way for me to explain the processes happening in my life only in a logical way it could be awesome!

But there are moments in my life and I suppose in everyone’s life when miracles happen, which cannot be explained by the logical mind. Sometimes your logic is not in charge with all things that happen, in fact it cannot embrace all details which are envolved, so it depends on your choice to trust or not to trust the process itself. I remember when I experienced one of the first miracles in my life, how hard it was for me to realize that logic has nothing to do with what was happening and its effect on my physical body. At a seminar we were working with our physical bodies doing short meditations for better health guided by a very passionate and certified coach.

Suddenly, on the second day of the seminar, spots came out all over my body as a result of a very powerful, cleansing meditation guided by that highly qualified teacher. I was unpleasantly surprised by all these spots on my body, trying to understand what caused them to appear and what the missing part of the puzzle was. In fact, this was a problem which made me suffer for many years but I had fixed it 4 years ago and had already forgotten about it.

The other people who participated in the same cleansing process did not have such problems, so the teacher told me that I had made a deep cellular clearing and my body had released some of the old behavioral patterns and negative emotions suppressed and stored in my cells: so, the suppressed negative emotions came out on the surface in the form of spots that became visible on my body skin.

I was not very sure what the final result would be, but 3 years later while I was working with the Silva Method and was making mediations to reprogram my mind, I noticed that all spots had gone, so I could wear short skirts again without being ashamed of my skin. I realized that there was a moment in my life when I had made the decision to let go of controlling everything and everyone in my surroundings and be a Silva practitioner for a better life. At that time I really had no idea that my Silva meditations and energetic practices I used to do on a daily basis would solve the problem caused by one of my first deep cleansing meditations.

Now I can assure you that this was one of my hardest lessons, which I had to learn in life and I learned it in a very distinct way, e.g. as everything is temporary and changeable in life, when you focus on some specific things rejecting everything else in life, this could cause you problems because you seek perfection instead of balance in all areas of your life. In my case, my lesson was related to my perfect physical body appearance that I was very proud of, so  these spots were my “teachers” showing me in practice how imaginary perfection was and how I had lost it because I was concentrated only upon this ignoring all other areas of my life.

I am so grateful now that things changed to better and I returned to my good appearance in a natural way without even realizing that I would solve this problem by short relaxations which I did at home. I am also very grateful that at that time I met my new Silva method mentor who helped me experience more and more benefits from the energetic work and practice attaining improvements in all areas of my life.

I solved my “spot problem” in a 3-year period of time, so I learned my lesson in a hard and prolonged way. But I know very well now that when you focus your attention on something, this thing will expand in your reality no matter if you want it or not, so it is good to be more careful in your choices and more attentive to what you want to create in your reality. This experience made me understand what really meant to go out of the box or to leave the boundaries of your comfort zone, so that was one of my most useful experiences which helped me truly empower my life and being.

Right now it is the time for you to start practicing meditation regularly using it as a powerful way of relaxation, concentration and connection with your core essence, because believe me or not, but through meditation on a daily basis you can improve all your areas of your life. Remember that the big transformations and changes always begin with making some small steps and making them one after the other, which will bring you closer and closer to your desired life.
