Accept the Change to Live a Better Life!

Let’s talk about the changes we all have to make in order to face the challenges and triggers we encounter and improve our life journey considerably. The excuse with avoiding the well known stressors is a very good reason for us to stay in our comfort zone where everything is secure and nothing triggers us to make even a small change. But when you observe the living Nature, you see that everything changes and moves in order to be in balance and harmony: as changes are constant, but very fluent and gradual, everything seems to happen with joy and ease as if by itself. Isn’t it better to live like birds: enjoying the present moment and what we have now praising life with songs and flying with joy!

There is no such thing as a “particular moment to change”. Just look at Nature and how it changes the colors of our habitat, how trees and plants grow: just look how everything changes in each season! Life is a change and the change is within and without, triggering us to be the change that we want to see in the world and by changing something inside ourselves to know that we contribute to the overall change of the world creating also a different attitude to life!

You are not the same person as you were a day before, because people change themselves with every breadth not even realizing that.  So, it will be very useful for you to spend a little time reflecting on how you perceive the world. Think also about what you have to do in order to change yourself and have a better life. One of my favorite teachers, Wayne W. Dyer, said, “When you change the way you look at things the things you look at change.” Can you stop for a while to think about this and assimilate it?

I assure you that if you can make this change of viewpoint, your life will go in a different direction, even in a direction you have never expected. Because it is easier for us to defend our actions and no-actions and especially the choices we have made than to take the full responsibility for them and accept their effects. I remember my inner struggles regarding my decisions and choices when I asked myself whether they really served myself and others in the best possible way and for the highest good.

Remember that you are the person who has made these decisions and you are the most important one in your life. However, time is not a constant value and you have the right to change your decisions in just a minute, if you feel that time has changed, the situation is different and there is something new to deal with and accept.

Having in mind my past experience, playing the same roles again and again and having too many duties on my daily program, doing the same routine things day after day was not so good for me at some point as it used to be, because everything changes in time, life is not static and predictable, and that is the wonder of being alive that there are miracles and unexpected things and wonderful surprises and gifts just behind the corner as you keep on going ahead and being your true self. Things in life do sometimes mass up and not everything is in the perfect order or as we expected it to be; even things could be completely different from what we were told in our childhood or at school. Therefore, become an observer! Be awake and always look at the world with the eyes of an observer! And if someone tells you that you are stupid or somethind like this, just answer with a smile, “OK. I AM!”. This was one of my greatest lessons and the teacher who told us to treat ourselves like that was a very outstanding woman.

I remember how confused we were after her statement and it took me many years to finally find out how helpful this answer was. Because to be an observer and to look at your own life without judging or putting labels “good” or “wrong” is that real mastery which will bring harmony and peace into your life.

So how can we accept the changes life triggers us to do?

I suggest you to try to see yourself through the eyes of a stranger that is passing through the process of change instead of being resistant to it. Try to see yourself as a different person through the same lens that we use to look at others especially in a case when you compare yourself to someone else, and do not attach emotions to it. Then simply ask yourself whether you would do anything differently in a moment of change. Try to see the entire picture through the eyes of a stranger passing through your own life and be only an observer in this process of investigation. Observe your behavior, observe the change that is proceeding and try not to put labels through the power of your logical mind.

Remember that the conditions in which we are living now are completely different than before and we are enetering a new dimension where we have the chance to attune ourselves to the entire Cosmos and to experience in truth that the gates of prosperity are open for us and abundance is the real nature of life and our birth right.
